Sony Takes AV Solutions on College and University Tour

The educational arm of Sony is bringing the company’s latest AV technology to colleges and universities across the U.S. this fall. Eye on EDU is launching the AV Solutions Technology Road Tour, enabling students to view the company’s latest classroom technology up close.

The tour will include:

  • Hands-on demos of PTZ cameras;
  • A laser projector shootout;
  • Advanced lamp projector technologies;
  • Software demos;
  • An opportunity to meet with Sony’s product and engineering teams; and
  • A glimpse of Sony’s future classroom technology.

Four teams will be traveling to colleges and universities around the country from Sept. 26 to Nov. 18. To participate, campus AV teams simply need to schedule an appointment on a date that Sony will be in the area. Campuses that are currently signed up include Duke University, Clemson University, East Carolina University, University of Southern California and Tarrant Community College District.
