Apple reported it will ship the new dual-core iPad 2 next week. At a special event in San Francisco Wednesday, the company unveiled the second generation of the iOS-based mobile device, which has to date sold more than 15 million units since its introduction last year.

UK University Hospital Manages Portable Data with Encrypted Drives
One university hospital has mandated the use of removable media from IronKey for staff and consultants who carry patient data with them. Based in California, IronKey sells encrypted USB drives that can be managed remotely by IT administrators through a Web-based application. If a device goes missing, IT can remotely disable it and wipe the data.
