iPad pilots are permeating higher education. Two of the latest announcements involve institutions in Texas and Canada, both of which are running tests projects that put the Apple tablet devices into the hands of their students. MoreEpson is enhancing its interactive projection devices--including the BrightLink 450Wi interactive projector and BrightLink Solo interactive module--with the addition of TeamBoard Draw, a software suite designed for interactive presentations. MoreMagnolia has updated its open source content management system to allow multiple people to edit the content at the same time. Magnolia version 4.4 also adds content translation, multi-step forms, and a page comparison feature, among other enhancements. MoreA Missouri company is looking to crack into the education market with a "social learning platform" that lets students search for academic resources and interact, collaborate, and share with each other outside of traditional learning management systems.
