West Chester University Innovates with BYOD Initiative to Expand Distance Learning Program

With a graduate center several miles away, a Center City Philadelphia location and a main campus divided into North, South and East sectors by a number of suburban streets, the IT department at West Chester University was challenged to make applications available anywhere on or off campus on any device. This was combined with an effort to expand Distance and Hybrid learning.

Join Theresa Friedman and JT Singh to learn how the IT department at West Chester University was able to:

  • Drive BYOD initiative and mobilize teaching and learning with secure access to apps and data for all constituents across all campuses
  • Reduce workloads, eliminate redundancy to free up IT to innovate and deliver more services
  • Increase enrollment and differentiate by expanding distance learning program
