The Composites Manufacturing Simulation Center (CMSC) at Purdue University delivers Next-Gen Learning Environment for Student Success

The exploding pace of new technologies is changing the way we live, learn and work. CMSC, in conjunction with IACMI, worked with the Purdue University based HUBzero research group to construct a system that works to transfer knowledge and support manufacturers by sharing and integrating commercial design and simulation software with the supply chain to simulate the performance of complex composite manufacturing. It will be important for institutions to deliver digital resources, applications and next-generation learning environments that will connect education to engage, empower and equip students to learn in an effective, collaborative manner with real-world expert knowledge and complex skills. Students play a significant role and participate on industry-based IACMI projects.

Join us Wednesday, September 20th and learn how Purdue University is partnering with industries like manufacturing, the DOE and the Institute for Advanced Composites Manufacturing Innovation (IACMI) to create collaborative next-generation learning environments that are engaging students, research and industries to work together, solve real-world problems and gain new skills to drive student success.

During this webcast learn how Purdue University is:

  • Delivering new resources for next-gen learning environments with Citrix Cloud technologies
  • Mobilizing teaching and learning by connecting students with expert knowledge
  • Providing new skills and experiences so students are workforce ready
