- In order to provide an immersive setting for his modeling and simulation students, Jody Strausser put together a massive visualization environment that included a 27-foot screen and three projectors. Expensive? Actually, the cost wasn't as prohibitive as it might have been. Rather than using expensive, high-resolution projectors for the system, Strausser turned to a technology that allowed him to "stitch" together three relatively inexpensive off-the-shelf projectors to create a single, seamless, 27-foot image.More
