Hamilton Expands Mirage Endpoint Control Implementation

Hamilton College, Clinton, NY, has expanded use of Mirage Networks' Endpoint Control system across its campus and deployed the company's Mirage Management Server for security.

According to Mirage, a developer of network access control systems, Hamilton has now integrated the full Mirage Endpoint Control solution into its network architecture, adding several new features, including pre-admission scanning and "post-admission behavioral detection and quarantining."

"We needed a way to automate the process of monitoring our network traffic and devices," said Dave Smallen, vice president of information technology, Hamilton College. "The full-cycle Mirage Networks solution gives us the network visibility to analyze, detect, and stop network problems without disrupting workflow at the College."

Hamilton has also deployed the Mirage Management Server, a network security system that provides centralized policy enforcement capabilities.

Hamilton is a liberal arts college that serves approximately 1,800 students.
