Camtasia Relay Lecture Capture System in Beta

At the Campus Technology 2008 conference being held this week in Boston, TechSmith launched a limited beta of its new lecture capture system, Camtasia Relay. The beta is open to the first 100 institutions that sign up for it.

"As a very early Camtasia Relay beta tester, we have experienced a great enhancement in the proficiency of course content delivery capabilities and in-turn expect a higher degree of satisfaction from both students and faculty," said John Morris, director of academic technology innovation at Drexel University, in a statement released this week. "We're excited that TechSmith is leveraging its many years of serving the education market by offering their new lecture capture solution at a very competitive and scalable price point so we can continue to offer our students an outstanding education."
