ViewSonic Debuts 400-Lumen Pico Projector, Wireless Gateway
ViewSonic this week launched a new pico projector, one that produces 400 lumens of brightness. The company also launched a new "wireless presentation gateway," which is designed to provide wireless connectivity to any projector or display.
The new 400-lumen PJD2121 pico projector, which weighs in at 2.16 pounds and measures 8.1" x 4.7" x 2.6", offers an SVGA resolution (800 x 600) and a contrast ratio of 1,800:1. It's designed for tabletop use or in small conference rooms. Some additional features include:
- A short-throw lens for projecting a 60-inch (diagonal) image from as little as 4 feet;
- Instant power-down;
- Compatibility with 1080i and 720p sources;
- ±30 degree vertical keystone correction;
- R GB analog and component inputs;
- Kensington security lock port; and
- ViewMatch color adjustment technology.
The PJD2121 is available now for $499.
ViewSonic has also launched the WPG-350 wireless projection system, a hardware device that connects to projectors and displays to provide wireless data and video streaming at resolutions up to 1,024 x 768 (XGA).
The device offers 802.11b/g/n wireless, support for up to four simultaneous presenters, and split-screen support. The device includes 64 MB of SDRAM, 8 MB of flash memory, R GB I/O, a stereo minijack, RJ-45 connectivity, as well as IT for the included remote and dual antennas.
The WPG-350 is available for $199.
