Pro Sound Effects Explores Audio Technology To Enhance Learning

At the Campus Technology 2012 conference happening this week in Boston, Pro Sound Effects is delivering a session focused on the use of audio technology to enhance learning.

Called "Audio Technology: Applications and Strategies to Enhance Learning," the poster session will be held at the conference today at 2 p.m. in aisle 800. Australian audio designer Stephan Schutze will discuss audio design strategies via webcam.

"Media production is increasingly integral to learning, and we are thrilled that the Pro Sound Effects Online Library has been a key resource for schools worldwide," said Douglas Price, president of Pro Sound Effects, in a statement released today.

During the conference, the company is also demonstrating its Online Sound Effects Library, which the company indicated is in use at several institutions, including Texas A&M University and Elon University. The company is currently offering a free download trial code for academic users. Additional details can be found on PSE's site.

Pro Sound Effects is exhibiting in booth 845 at the Campus Technology 2012 conference in Boston at the Seaport World Trade Center.
