New Classroom Camera Tracks Instructors for Distance Learning

        Audiovisual
technology manufacturer Aver
Information USA has launched a new camera for education that uses
AI to “seamlessly track” instructors as they move around the
classroom. The camera was designed with remote learning
environments in mind.
The
Aver
DL30 Artificial Intelligence Auto Tracking Distance Learning Camera

    -

    2 AI-driven, hands-free tracking modes: presenter and zone, which do
    not rely on a lanyard or sound to follow the presenter;
-

    12x optical zoom;
-

    A privacy mode, which turns off the camera and tracking;

-

    Compatibility with Zoom, Google Meet, Google Hangouts and Microsoft
    Teams;
-

    Video recording, image capture and live streaming with the free
    software included with the camera;
-

    Support for connecting document cameras for display to remote
    students; and
-

    Support for centralized management of hundreds of cameras.

Optional
accessories include a ceiling mount, wall mount and remote. More information, including full specifications, can be found at
