WELCOME TO OUR SPECIAL FEATURE COVERAGE of the 2008 Campus Technology Innovators. On these 16 pages, we are delighted to offer an insider's view of those campus technology initiatives, their project leads, and vendor partners jointly recognized for a unique ability to advance teaching, learning, administration, and operations on North American college and university campuses. We congratulate this year's 14 winners, selected from 275 nominations from across the country; institutions' case study information was submitted via the entry form on our website (2009 form will be available in early February). A special note to readers: It was most challenging to choose from so many worthy entrants offering their campus tech projects as such outstanding models for other institutions of higher education. Happily, many of these compelling case studies will find their way into future issues, for your enlightenment. Our sincere thanks to all of the 2008 Campus Technology Innovators program participants!
