WebStudy LMS Goes Mobile

WebStudy has released a mobile version of its learning management system for Google Android and Apple iOS devices.

WebStudy, a learning management provider located in Wyynewood, PA, partnered with CollegeMobile to create WebStudy Mobile. The new app includes a number of features designed to make it interactive, said Curt Corbi, WebStudy's chief technology officer, in a prepared statement released Tuesday by the company. "Since the application is not ‘browser based,'" said Corbi, "it goes beyond informational to interactive, allowing students to participate in class forums and read, send e-mail while heading to class on the train or waiting for the bus."

Features of WebStudy Mobile include:

  • Events Summary, a daily update of new assignments, exams, and forums;
  • WebStudy Mail, for creating, answering, and deleting e-mail;
  • Timeline, a course timeline which enables users to find forums, access course materials, or view upcoming assignments and exams; and,
  • Forums, a list of course discussions

Users can download WebStudy Mobile, at no charge, at the Apple iTunes store and the Google Play store.
