Credo To Add Financial Aid Information to Literati Services

Reference and information skills education provider Credo Reference has teamed up with Reference Service Press to include financial aid information in its family of software and services.

The partnership calls for Credo to integrate financial aid information from Reference Service Press into its line of Literati solutions for schools, academic institutions, public libraries, and student athlete programs.

The partnership follows on the heels of Credo's recent addition of Literati School and Literati Student Athlete to the Literati line of software and services that began with Literati Academic and Literati Public less than a year prior.

Reference Service Press specializes in producing financial aid directories, searchable databases, and customized online products for academic institutions, libraries, nonprofit agencies, and commercial operations. Founded in 1977, the company has focused specifically on providing financial aid information to various groups, including women, minorities, student athletes, people with disabilities, individuals with ties to the military, and those interested in specific majors.

"The financial aid information we will be making available to all Literati subscribers and users will identify billions of dollars available to help millions of students offset the increasing costs of a college education," said Reference Service Press President Gail Schlachter. "This scholarship service will offer an ideal complement to other innovative Literati features."

Credo Reference was founded in 1999 and has offices in Boston and the United Kingdom. Originally an online reference content provider, the company has transitioned to an active role as an information skills education provider with its Literati line of software and services.
