Michigan State U Streamlines Payments with E-Invoicing
Michigan State University has selected a new electronic invoicing tool in an effort
to streamline invoice and payment processes.
The university, with more than 50,000 students and 11,000 staff and faculty, chose to adopt
invoicing software from
ESM Solutions, a company that was already providing an e-procurement platform,
easyPurchase, for the school.
The cloud-based tool automates processes for collecting, submitting approving and paying invoices electronically and combines buyer and
supplier interactions in a single interface. The tool also integrates with "Michigan State's
Kuali ERP system and ESM Solutions' purchasing applications to help shorten the invoice cycle, make the payment process more efficient and
monitor and store invoices," according to a news release.
"We were able to tailor the entire easyPurchase Suite to meet Michigan State's requirements," said Dan Corazzi, ESM Solutions' CEO, in a
prepared statement. "We're excited for the next step as we implement our invoicing solutions to meet the university's needs."
