Computer Science is an 18-week course for students in grades 9-12 and higher ed covering two semesters and focused on topics such as object-oriented programming, sorting algorithms, recursion, software engineering and computer ethics. "Introduction to HTML and CSS" is a three-week course for students in grades 6-12 and higher ed. Other computer science courses to come will cover topics such as Java, Python, Boolean logic, Raspberry Pi, foundations of Web design, introduction to computer science principles and more.

"Going forward, it's going to be a tough slog for English majors," said David Siminoff, founder of Shmoop, in a prepared statement.
