Facebook Intros Career Training Site

Facebook is launching Learn with Facebook, a career development site offering training, tools  and resources aimed at helping people access new job opportunities. The site's free online courses cover digital marketing and career-focused topics, such as "Ace Your Interview" and "Manage Your Content Marketing," and include case studies, insider tips and resources from industry experts, according to a Facebook blog post.

The company is also partnering with the Goodwill Community Foundation to offer the training across the United States. "We'll work closely with them to develop training resources for individuals of all backgrounds and education levels," the blog post said.

In addition, Facebook is updating its social media platform with a number of job-related features. Businesses can now share job postings in Facebook Groups, to better reach applicants with particular interests. And an update to Facebook’s Mentorship tool allows people in Groups to select a mentorship partner based on common goals or interests.
