Bookrix.com: A Social Platform for Aspiring Writers

A new social software platform targeting writers is providing tools for creating, sharing, and getting feedback on unpublished works. Aspiring authors may create their profiles and find collaborators who may help them refine their work online at BookRix.com. Using proprietary software, called ViewRix, members upload, share, and comment on content as varied as novels, CDs, or cover art. Original content is uploaded in PDF or Word format.

Has anyone had issues with getting on BookRix lately- I keep getting an malware warning, and can't seem to get on the site, even when I log onto the site it just goes back to the malware warning page. Says its out of Germany, but as far as I knew this site was out of England.

I am a member of BookRix since February 2009. I would like to highly recommend this site to all writers, readers of books, and professionals in the industry to this site. It is well worth joining in every way. Networking is awesome and there are contests as well in process of revue. The most recent contest is the Rain Contest. Check it out, read the short stories posted there and leave your comments and your votes. As to posting your work, any and all writing is acceptable for posting as a book upload. IT is automatically included in your data on the Profile page. Look under Community for a listing of all members. Whatever you upload as writing is placed with your profile in the Community section and if you join any of the Groups under the Community heading, you can submit your books for review or comment by other writers. There are also Forum discussions in blog style as well. I highly recommend this site to everyone who likes to read and write.
