Higher Ed Leads Line Up with Prioritization Engine

A company that sells applications for managing leads and prospects has developed a new program that helps users to prioritize their leads. Leads360's prioritization engine lets an organization, such as a college or university, define business rules to identify high priority leads and automatically rank them for follow-up by enrollment advisors.

Leads can be prioritized based on multiple characteristics, such as demographic, geographic, lead source, and time since a certain activity has occurred. The product also includes pre-configured rules that can be used out of the box. The prioritization process encompasses the results of lead activity as well; for example, a lead that has been called once may have a higher priority than a lead called three or four times.

"The engine will take the strain out of calendar management, helping enrollment counselors prioritize the most important activities, whether that means calling a new student prospect or following up via e-mail with a student prospect who is on the fence about enrolling at that school or a competitor school," said a company spokeswoman. "This helps fine-tune the use of enrollment counselor time for efficiency, ultimately making them more successful at identifying and enrolling the right students for their higher education institution."
