Antioch College Implements ERP To Streamline Information Flow

Antioch College has selected a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution in an effort to integrate information channels between academic and business functions.

Specifically, Antioch will implement CAMS (comprehensive academic management system) Enterprise from Three Rivers Systems.

The browser-based CAMS solution includes tools for managing recruitment, marketing, online applications, registration, payment, financial aid, degree audits, outcome tracking, portals, reports, and other functions.

Tom Brookey, chief operations officer at Antioch, cited the platform's scalability, implementation strategy, integration, ease of use, and functionality as reasons the college chose the solution.

Features of CAMS Enterprise include:

  • Business analytics delivered via dashboards and designed to help faculty, administrators, and others make decisions more efficiently;
  • Built-in reports covering, among others, schedules, grades, transcripts, and billing statements;
  • An integrated learning management system; and
  • Alumni relations management tools.

Founded in 1850 and located in Yellow Springs, OH, Antioch College is an independent nonprofit liberal arts school. After closing its doors in 2008, Antioch reopened in 2011. In 2012, the college offered free tuition to all students who registered in the next three years.

"We examined several options and believe CAMS Enterprise offers us what we need in this critical juncture in our renaissance," Brookey said.
