South Carolina College Automates Admissions Processes

Coker College in Hartsville, SC has deployed a constituent relationship management platform to help the school automate its admissions process, and increase retention and enrollment.

Coker selected Enrollment Rx to automate the admissions office's workflow, streamline its communications systems, generate admissions reporting, and provide a single online portal to student information.

According to a news release, since the deployment the college has receive 30 percent more applications and admitted 15 percent more students to its day, evening, and graduate programs, as compared to 2011 and 2012.

"Enrollment Rx has allowed our staff to work smarter, not harder, which means that they can concentrate their efforts on ensuring that our recruiting program remains a highly personalized one," said Adam Connolly, director of admissions at Coker College, in a prepared statement. "We've never had this many applications at this point in the cycle in the history of the school."

Enrollment Rx, built on the Salesforce.com cloud-hosted platform, automatically delivers a letter to Coker College admitted students one week after they are accepted, archives student information, and keeps track of actions such as when letters are sent or recommending follow-up dates.

"The experts at Enrollment Rx worked closely with our team to help us customize the application to our unique requirements," Connolly added.

The private liberal arts college with undergraduate enrollment of more than 1,000 is also looking into implementing EnrollmentRX in the Financial Aid Department.
