i>clicker, a unit of Macmillan New Ventures, is bringing its student response system to Android and iOS devices, as well as traditional laptops and desktops.

The company today released mobile versions of its classroom response system, i>clicker GO, allowing students and instructors to use their their own devices to deliver or participate in SRS-based classroom assessments. The software is designed to support all devices capable of displaying a Web page and can be used in conjunction with i>clicker + and i>clicker 2 remotes.

Unlike traditional clickers, the new clicker software requires students to log in and select a specific instructor and course. Results can then be gathered and exported to Excel formats. The software supports short answer, multiple choice, and numeric question types.
