Aspen University Launches 'Debt-Free' Degree Program
Aspen University has launched a new payment plan that it's touting as a way to earn a degree "debt free."
The new plan allows students to earn a bachelor's degree for $250 per month for five years or a master's degree for $325 per month for three years.
"Attending college shouldn't be the financial risk of a lifetime," said Michael Mathews, chairman and CEO of the Aspen Group, in a prepared statement. "It's time for the higher-education industry to focus on the fact that nearly half of the $1.2 trillion national student debt weighs on families earning less than $60,000 annually."
