North Central U Deploys CRM for Student Recruitment

North Central University, a private, undergraduate college in Minneapolis, is implementing a cloud-based constituent relationship management (CRM) solution to improve internal and external communications.

The university's previous approach to constituent management was manual and segmented by department, causing redundancies and inconsistencies. In an effort to coordinate communications between departments and improve communication with potential students, the university decided to implement Enrollment Rx, a cloud-based CRM solution for higher education.

According to information on the company's site, Enrollment Rx enables colleges and universities to configure prospect pipelines, lead assignment rules and communication plans. The system also includes dashboards, reports and analytics, including a Custom Applicant Portal that lets potential students apply online and access their application status and requirements in real time. Other features include event management tools, counselor appointment management and feeder high school tracking.

In addition to improving internal and external communications, the university plans to use Enrollment Rx to create consistent, automated workflows. "Enrollment Rx will bring a measure of cohesion to our internal processes, which will be a great step forward for ensuring consistent, unified communication with constituents," said Michael White, vice president of university relations for North Central University, in a prepared statement.

According to the company, North Central University plans to go live with admissions and external relations department users in October 2014.
