3M Intros 60-Touch Display

3M's new 55-inch display supports up to 60 simultaneous touches.3M has unveiled a 55-inch display capable of 60 simultaneous touches for multi-user collaboration.

The 1,920 x 1,080-resolution C5567PW features portrait, landscape and tabletop display settings. Inputs include RGB, DVI, HDMI, display port and 3.5 mm stereo minijack.

“Providing 60 simultaneous touches in a large-format display helps ensure a natural, unhindered multi-user interactive experience for many applications, from interactive digital signs and assisted selling to command and control applications,” said Nicola Stevens, global business director of 3M Display Materials and Systems Division, in a prepared statement. “Further enhancing the user experience is a 10-millisecond reaction time, which helps ensure a more responsive experience, especially when compared to some infrared and optical-based touch displays.”

The company will be showing the C5567PW in booth 3051 at this week's InfoComm conference. More information about the display is available at solutions.3m.com.
