Bretford Debuts Charging Lockers

Bretford's new TechGuard Charging Lockers come in configurations featuring one, five and 10 bays.Bretford has unveiled a line of powered lockers for securely storing individual laptops, tablets and phones.

Slated for availability in the fall, the TechGuard Charging Lockers come in 1- 5- and 10-bay configurations with each bay capable of storing and charging a 15.5-inch laptop, a 10-inch tablet and a smartphone simultaneously.

Each bay features an AC outlet, two USB charging ports, a courtesy light and windows for administrators to view contents. Access cards open the lockers for inspection while maintaining the current code and reset cards reset the locker's code.

"We've found that students and professionals typically carry at least two mobile devices. And they often find themselves, at some point during the day, needing to charge those devices," saidd Robert Gabriel, product specialist for Bretford Manufacturing, in a prepared statement. "The TechGuard Charging Lockers provide a place where they can secure and store those devices, and give their devices the charge they need."
