MTI CC Incorporates InterFix Knowledge Base in Medical Transcription Courses

MTI Community College has added the AHDI BenchMark Knowledge Base from InterFix to its online medical transcription program. The knowledge base is a Web service that can be used alongside or integrated with medical transcription or coding applications to help the user improve medical data accuracy.

"Providing students with the most relevant training is critical to the success of our program, and BenchMark KB is a perfect fit. It is a tool that our students will use when they enter the workforce," said Bev Reid, college president. "Training our students on the latest technology gives them a definite advantage when seeking employment."

MTI Community College has six locations in British Columbia.
