Ergotron To Release 48-Tablet Mobile Cart


Ergotron's TeachWell Tablet Management Cart can hold up to 48 tablets in three modules.

Ergotron will release the TeachWell Tablet Management Cart this summer. It will be the company's first mobile AV cart designed specifically for handheld tablets like the iPad.

The modular syncing and charging system is compatible with any USB-charged tablet with a screen up to 10 inches, including the iPad, Nook, Kindle, or Galaxy.

The system holds up to 48 tablets and will be available as a mobile cart or desktop option. Other features include:

  • One-time set up;
  • Secure cable management drawer with limited student access;
  • Automatic switching from charge to sync when a master laptop is connected; and
  • Individual tablet and module status visibility via LED indicators.

The TeachWell Tablet Management Cart will be available in August for a list price of $899.
