iPad App Helps Students with ADHD Stay on Task
A new iPad app feature designed to help students with ADHD combat forgetfulness and procrastination has just been released.
"What's Up" is the newest feature to be added to Memory on Demand's Focus GPS software. The updated iPad app enables students to transfer items from their action list to a private Facebook page. Only the student and individuals designated by the student can access the Facebook page.
Focus GPS uses memory-by-association and multiple pair comparison tools to walk users through complex thought processes. The tools were designed to help users learn how to organize unrelated complex thoughts and better manage changing priorities and tasks, areas where ADHDers typically struggle.
iPad users can visit Memory on Demand's Web site to download the Focus GPS app. The app will be available for all platforms in June 2012.
