St. Gregory's U Adopts new Finance, Fundraising Tools

A private university with about 750 students will be implementing a new set of administrative management applications to improve its working environment. St. Gregory's University with two campuses in Oklahoma will be implementing software from Campus Management, including CampusVue Student, Talisma CRM, and Talisma Fundraising.

The new programs will be rolled out over a 13-month period. President Greg Main said Talisma CRM, which manages student admissions and retention, would help the institution communicate with its students more effectively through email, chat, and SMS text messaging. The university will also deploy Talisma Fundraising, a donor and alumni management system, to help it work toward fundraising goals. Because the constituent relationship management system integrates with the fundraising software, the university will be able to more effectively convert its students into alumni donors.

"We are changing the way we approach communications," said Vice President of Operations Harley Lingerfelt. "Through this project, we anticipate being able to more effectively communicate with our students from the time they show interest in SGU, to graduation, and beyond."

The university is also expecting to deploy:

  • CampusVue Portal to deliver services to users through the web and enable faculty, staff, and students to have personalized portals based on their unique roles;
  • CampusVue HR & Payroll, to digitize human resources and payroll processes and provide staff with self-service; and
  • Finance, for traditional accounting and forecasting operations.

Campus Management software is also in use currently at the University of Alabama and Jacksonville State University, both in Alabama, and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, among others.
