1105 Media Acquires Peter Li Education Group Publications

Chatsworth, CA — 1105 Media, Inc., producers of leading trade shows, conferences, and media brands serving the education market, announces the acquisition of the award-winning School Planning & Management and College Planning & Management brands from Peter Li, Inc.

School Planning & Management (SP&M) and College Planning & Management (CP&M) are the industry's leading publications covering facilities, security, technology and business concerns in K-12 school districts as well as colleges and universities. These brands provide unparalleled reach into every level of decision making in their fields, and complement 1105 Media's T.H.E. Journal in the K-12 market and Campus Technology in higher education.

"This strategic move will allow School Planning & Management and College Planning & Management to not only continue to provide valuable, quality content relevant to our audience, but to increase our market penetration and thought leadership by applying 1105 Media's broader range of resources," states Deborah Moore, publisher and executive editor.

The addition of these properties further supports 1105 Media's expansion into the creation and delivery of information and services focused on the design and management of education facilities, an effort which began with the 2011 acquisition of the Learning Environments conference and exposition (formerly known as the School and College Building Expo).

"We are excited to have Deborah and her team join our Education Group family," says Wendy LaDuke, president and group publisher of 1105 Media Education Group. "We can now expand the SP&M and CP&M brands into comprehensive, multi-channel resources that encompass print, online, and events—solidifying their place as the market-leading brands in their field."
