Campus Management Intros Retention Service with AI Intervention

A new cloud-based service from Campus Management guides students from enrollment through graduation, employing an "artificial intelligence persona" to communicate with those in need of intervention. The Retention360 student success product's "RENEE" AI feature (named for Retain, Engage, Notify and Enablement Engine) automatically sends alerts and messages to students on their preferred channels and devices.

Powered by Campus Management's CampusNexus retention-as-a-service offering, the subscription-based Retention360 "monitors a student's progress toward completion of his or her course of study, including benchmarks for academic performance, social involvement, financial status and career readiness," according to a press release. The RENEE AI engine launches intervention strategies, messaging students with specific calls to action designed to keep them on track. Guidance is based on best practices, detailed student profiles, "engagement goals and other factors measuring the impact of each institution's student success efforts."

"More than ever, today's institutions are compelled to deliver superior retention and successful student outcomes," said Jim Milton, CEO of Campus Management, in a prepared statement. "To address this challenge, we preconfigured CampusNexus CRM's ... retention functionality to operate in lock-step with an institution's existing tools, thereby merging the collective knowledge of an institution with the individualized goals for students and establishing individual communications plans to ensure students remain on track. We believe that proactive engagement and intervention strategies will allow institutions to engage students before they disengage."

Campus Management offers a "rapid deployment model" for Retention360, providing configuration, hosting and ongoing maintenance. For more information, visit the company site.
