Eureka College Expands Apogee Partnership to Include Suite of Managed Services

Eureka College has expanded its five-year technology partnership with Apogee to include Apogee Managed Campus, a suite of managed network, security, cloud, professional, and IT services, according to a news release. The college previously implemented Apogee ResNet and Apogee Managed Network Services in 2019. The new solution is part of a 2022–25 strategic plan to improve the campus experience for students, faculty, and staff.

"With the knowledge and experience that Apogee provides, Eureka College has become a leader among small, private U.S. colleges in adopting and implementing IT best practices," said Dr. Ann Fulop, Eureka College provost and vice president of academic affairs. "Apogee is always working behind the scenes so that our leaders, faculty, staff, and students don’t have to worry about IT. We know that Apogee is backing us up and freeing us up so that we can focus on delivering on the initiatives we have outlined in our strategic plan as well as achieving the positive outcomes that we know are possible."

Residential Network Services (ResNet) and Managed Network Services provide high-speed WiFi to the full campus, including residence halls. In 2023, Apogee Professional Services also provided Active Directory and email migration services to the college. The new Managed Campus services deepens the relationship to address the college's IT needs more completely.

Services provided under Apogee Managed Campus now include executive advisory services; security risk assessments; IT service desk support; and cloud services including backup and disaster recovery, as well as managed applications.

"Eureka College is an excellent role model for colleges and universities that are benefiting from embracing a progressive approach to IT services and support. Our Apogee team knows how essential IT is to the success of all higher ed stakeholders. We are honored that Eureka College trusts Apogee with all things IT, and we look forward to many more years of working effectively together," said Apogee CEO Scott Drossos.
