Xerox’s DocuShare 4.0 now offers the DocuShare Records Manager module, which complies with government standards for storing and expiring records. With the updated 4.0 version which includes secure Direct Scan from Xerox devices, customers have a full end-to-end solution from capture to document management to final record storage. In addition, the E-Mail module adds collaboration capabilities: Users can e-mail content with attachments into DocuShare, store group e-mail discussions, and integrate with any mail system.

The newest addition to Hitachi’s LCD projector family, the CP-S235 model provides numerous connectivity options, including one RGB and three video inputs and S-video. Weighing only seven pounds, the projector is HDTV compatible and the monitor output allows presenters to view the same projected image on an external monitor. The Tandberg Mediaplace is an integrated video communication system incorporating a set-top video setup with a high-resolution projector, DVD/VCR/audio system—all secured with a lockable Lexan cover panel. Mediaplace can join up to four video sites and one audio site with an embedded multi-site functionality. Additionally, there is a PC card slot for wireless LAN connection.
