Polycom's ReadiManager SE200 V2.0Simplified Videoconference Management

Polycom has introduced ReadiManager SE200 Version 2.0, an integrated application for centralized videoconference management, scheduling, gatekeeping, and device control. The application is available as a browser-based upgrade, will scale to support 1,000 HD and non- HD endpoints, is preconfigured to aid network installation and setup, and features role-based interface designs and workflow improvements for scheduling and managing conferences. MSRP: $18,750.

Samsung's Q1 UltraSpeedy Ultra-Mobile PC

The Q1 Ultra from Samsung Electronics America is an ultra-mobile PC complete with an integrated split-QWERTY keypad, mouse, and user-defined function keys. The device features the new Intel Ultra Mobile Processor running at 600 or 800 MHz (depending on the model), along with 1GB of high-speed DDR2 system memory, and a minimum of 4.5 hours of continuous run time via integrated lithium ion prismatic batteries. A 300-pixel webcam and high performance dual-array microphone enable face-to-face videoconferencing, and an integrated fingerprint reader facilitates system security. MSRP starts at $799.

Talisma's CRM BasicsHosted CRM

Talisma has introduced Talisma CRM Basics, a pre-configured, hosted, constituent relationship management (CRM) solution that offers a lower-cost, condensed alternative to the complete Talisma Multi-Channel CRM suite. The on-demand, scalable offering can be deployed in less than 30 days, and includes e-mail, phone, and print communication channels; communication plan and process workflow capabilities for e-mail, phone, and print campaigns; pre-configured system rules and role-based workspaces; and data importation from an institution’s student information system.
