C-Labs Digital Library Now Supports High Definition

Digital media service provider Cdigix has added HD capabilities to its C-Labs solutions. C-Labs are designed  to provide tools for higher education faculty and institutions to maintain and post online digital media while complying with copyright laws.

Designed for classroom and curricular use, the subscriber's media library is held in an online reserve to be accessed when needed, according to Cdigix. The service supports  VHS, BETA , Laser disc, DVD, and film projector media conversion into Windows Media, Real Media, and QuickTime video formats with podcast capabilities in addition to HD media.

The company offers both individual and institutional licensing packages.
