Jenzabar Highlights New Strategy for Campus Administrative Systems

Administrative software provider Jenzabarhas announced a new direction for its Jenzabar EX suite of businessoffice applications for higher education. Additions to the platformwill include a budget module and an enhanced purchasing module, as wellas integration with Microsoft Dynamics GP.

According to thecompany, the new strategy is intended to improve collaboration, helpingstreamline business office tasks and improve access to informationthroughout the campus environment. The new budgeting module will manageall aspect of budget lifecycles, while the purchasing module offersadvanced workflow, granular access to data, and an improved userinterface, among other things.

In addition, Jenzabar inworking toward tighter integration with Microsoft Dynamics GP,providing a range of financial management functionality. Benefits aresaid to include a variety of account modules, reporting capabilities,forecasting, and advanced business intelligence.

According to the announcement, the new platform additions will be made available in 2009. A firm date has not been released.
