SunGard HE Releases New Unified Digital Campus

SunGard Higher Education announced Monday the newest release of Banner Unified Digital Campus (UDC), which includes the Banner 8 administrative suite.

This newest release, according to SunGard HE, is designed to help higher education institutions reduce costs, increase productivity, and streamline their processes. The Banner 8 administrative suite offers new features that the company said will improve fiscal accountability, help enforce compliance regulations throughout the campus environment, and manage capacity, among other things.

The Banner UDC was tested at the company's Unified Digital Campus Test Center (UDC Test Center) prior to release. The center, announced last November, simulates real-world campus environments and is used to test configurations of the system prior to customer implementation.
