IT Help Desk Management System Adds Mobile Device Support

NetSupport has introduced DNA Helpdesk 2.8, the latest version of its IT helpdesk ticket management system geared to small and medium-sized organizations. The Web-based application records and tracks user help requests and their fulfillment, and requires no software installation on helpdesk client machines.

New to version 2.8 is mobile device support, which allows mobile troubleshooters to be in a position to receive and manage tickets on the move without the distraction of having to call into base, explained Andy Gibbons, NetSupport's head of customer support.

Pricing for DNA Helpdesk version 2.8 runs $1.750 for three helpdesk operators and $440 for each additional user.
