Hebrew U To Deliver Classical Hebrew Course via eTeacher

The Hebrew University of Jerusalem will offer its first accredited online Biblical Hebrew courses to overseas students through eTeacher Group's site ClassicalHebrew.com.

eTeacher is an online language academy, and Classical Hebrew is one of two Hebrew courses taught through the service.

The new course at the university is accredited and recognized by the faculty of humanities. In accordance with the institution's academic requirements, the program includes obligatory attendance, paper submissions, and examinations. Completion earns the student four credit hours. The program is headed by Ohad Cohen, a faculty member of the university as well as eTeacher's Classical Hebrew Academic Director.
