Moodlerooms has unveiled Joule, an enterprise learning management platform based on the open source Moodle system. Features include: outcomesbased learning (online quizzes, assignments, resources, and forums are linked to outcomes and standards); in-program help (including tutorials and FAQs accessible from within the platform); modules and blocks (allowing institutions to incorporate open source and third-party applications); and course conversion (allowing educators to transfer courses and content from an existing learning management system, for a smooth transition).
