Prepaid Credit Program

Blackboard has introduced Blackboard Pay, a prepaid card program that enables institutions to disburse financial aid credit balances and student payroll to campus ID cards. The program, in partnership with Discover and First Data, provides students and staff immediate access to their funds, eliminating the need to wait for paper check disbursements. Students can use the prepaid card to make purchases at any locations that accept Discover cards, or withdraw cash from ATMs that bear the Pulse, Allpoint, or STAR Network logos. Discover provides the network for Blackboard Pay transactions, while First Data provides the transaction processing and disbursement technology. Cardholder funds are held in FDIC-insured accounts through First Data’s Money Network program. Contact vendor for pricing. blackboard.com/transact.
