Crest Audio Debuts E-Lite Series Amps

Crest Audio has unveiled four new amplifiers as part of its new E-Lite series, a line it's showing at the InfoComm 2010 convention this week in Las Vegas.

The new amps, E-Lite 1800, E-Lite 1800 DSP, E-Lite 3000, and E-Lite 3000 DSP, feature two independent channels, automatic clip limiting, an XLR through connector, Speakon output connectors, and a switch that selects between bridge, parallel, and stereo modes.

Power ratings include 900 watts per channel at an impedance of 2 ohms for both the E-Lite 1800 and E-Lite 1800 DSP, and 1,500 watts per channel at the same impedance for the E-Lite 3000 and E-Lite 3000 DSP.

Features of the DSP models include MaxxBass with adjustable levels, an adjustable limiter, HF driver EQ, parametric EQ, security settings, and user presets.

The E-Lite 1800 DSP, E-Lite 3000 and E-Lite 3000 DLP feature adjustable crossovers. All models have protection circuitry and corresponding Led indicators for temp, DC, signal, and active safeguards.

The amplifiers will be featured at booth C6602 at the InfoComm show this week.

The E-Lite 1800, E-Lite 1800 DSP, E-Lite 3000, and E-Lite 3000 DSP are priced at499.99, 699.99, 599.99, and 799.99 respectively. They are expected to ship in the third quarter of 2010.
