AMX Launches AV Wall Switches


AMX's CP-3017-TR-US triple-gang AV wall plate.

AMX has rolled out four RMS-compatible AV wall plates--the CP-3006, CP-3008, CP-3017-NA, and the CP-3017-TR-US--as part of its new Novara 3000 series.

The CP-3006 model fits in a single gang socket and features a six-button control pad, while the CP-3008 is a double gang unit with eight buttons, a volume knob, and an LED level indicator.

Both the CP-3017-NA, a double gang unit, and the CP-3017-TR-US, a triple gang unit, offer 17 buttons, a volume knob with LED indictor, and a navigation pad.

All models ship with the option of black, white, or aluminum finishes and feature RJ-45 connectivity, security lockout, and inactivity time out.

Ports for the CP-3006 include an RS-232 port, a 2-pin IR port, and one power port. The CP-3008 boasts two two-pin IR ports, two RS-232 ports, one power, and one I/O port, while the CP-3017-NA and the CP-3017-TR-US offer three RS-232 ports, one I/O port, two two-pin IR ports, one power port, and one relay port. All wall plates come standard with one RJ-45 port.
