Epson Debuts 3,700-lumen Projector for Large Classrooms

Epson unveiled its new projector the PowerLite 935W today at the FETC 2013 conference taking place this week in Orlando. FL.

The PowerLite 935W, a 3LCD, 3-chip model designed for large classrooms and environments with bright lights, features 3,700 lumens of both color and white light output. The new unit has a native resolution of 1280 x 800 (WXGA), a throw ratio of 1.38 – 2.24, and a 1.6 optical zoom.

Additional features include:

  • Automatic vertical and manual horizontal keystone correction of +/- 30 degrees;
  • Support for front, rear, or ceiling mount;
  • EasyMP Network Projection software;
  • Epson iProjection application;
  • Estimated lamp life of up to 4,000 hours, in economy mode; and,
  • 16-watt speaker.

The PowerLite 935W's AV inputs include two RGB (D-sub 15 pin), HDMI, composite video, and two stereo mini jacks. Communication ports and peripherals include RJ-45, RS-232, and USB.

The new projector measures 13.6 inches (w) x 10.3 (d) x 4.2 (h) and weighs 7.5 pounds.

Epson will begin shipping the PowerLite 935W next month for $1,199. Additional information is available at Epson's Web site.
