Veritix Debuts Electronic Ticketing Platform for College Sports and Events

A new platform aims to help colleges and universities better manage their ticketing and event business needs.

Veritix, a Cleveland, OH-based digital ticketing service provider, has debuted a new solution that enables institutions to manage their ticketing, fundraising efforts and fan relationships within a single system. With the new platform, colleges and universities can sell tickets to events, track campaigns and memberships, create donor profiles, and monitor fan gifts, according to a company statement. The solution, which is designed to integrate with major campus gift systems, also comes with reporting and analytics functions.

The platform includes Veritix's Flash Seats digital ticketing technology. With Flash Seats, digital tickets are connected to the ticket buyer's electronic ID, which means individuals can use their chosen form of electronic ID -- including credit cards or drivers' licenses -- to enter events. The technology is also designed to help institutions better manage and generate revenue from their secondary market.

Additional information about Veritix is available online.
