Financial Services College Uses Custom LMS for Exam Prep

The American College of Financial Services will use a custom learning management platform developed by LoudCloud Systems to launch its new Analyst Success exam preparation program for CFA candidates. Both self-guided and teacher-led programs will run through the system.

The new platform allows students to sample material and choose the sections of the program they need to study most. Students can also enroll and upgrade packages through the system's e-commerce function.

Additional features of the custom platform include LoudBooks, an e-reader, a quiz function, behavioral analytics, and collaboration capability through Adobe Connect.

LoudCloud will host a discussion panel, with speakers from Strayer University, Bryan University, and Grand Canyon University, at next month's Educause 2013 conference taking place in Anaheim, CA.
