Ellucian Releases Institutional Performance Management

Ellucian has launched Ellucian Institutional Performance Management, a new strategic analysis and performance management tool for higher education that's designed to link data across disparate systems to help manage, analyze and act upon information derived from a wide range of sources campuswide.

IPM blends Ellucian's business intelligence technologies (Banner Operational Data Store, Banner Enterprise Data Warehouse, Colleague DataOrchestor, and Colleague Reporting and Operating Analytics) with Nuventive's TracDat and Microsoft's SharePoint. The combined offering provides a range of capabilities, including:

  • Actionable key performance indicators in the areas of academics, accountability, administration, admissions, advancement, alumni relations, enrollment, finance, recruiting, student services, and workforce management;
  • Automated metrics and KPIs, with the ability to pull and aggregate data, map data against goals, and provide details in dashboards; and
  • Integration with Banner and Colleague.

Additional details can be found in a video on Ellucian's site.
