Aligned to standards from the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) the module is designed "to supplement existing instruction or as a full for-credit course," according to information released by the company.
Features of the module include:
- Cloud-based multimedia;
- Online activities;
- Course notes;
- Guides; and
- The ability to customize the module to reflect institutional branding.
"We are very excited about the [Information Literacy Course Module]," said Christal Ferrance, instructional design librarian at George Mason University, in a prepared statement. The modules are very comprehensive and cover most, if not all, of the topics important to us for in-person and online instruction."
