American Indian College Turns to Cloud for ERP

American Indian College (AIC), a Christian college that serves primarily Native American students, has adopted a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for its comprehensive system, easy maintenance and fast deployment.

AIC decided to adopt Cams Cloud, from Three Rivers Systems. Cams Cloud is delivered via a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model, allowing AIC access to a full ERP solution without the need for expensive on-campus infrasturucture.

"Our prior student information system was lacking functionality that we believed was critical to our school's needs," said Dave Moore, president of American Indian College, in a prepared statement. "However, we didn't want to switch to another solution that would take years to implement or require a heavy upfront investment. CAMS Cloud from Three Rivers Systems fit the bill perfectly. First and foremost, it provides greatly improved functionality across the board. We'll particularly take advantage of its upgraded fundraising capabilities, online Web-based communications with students, and a mobile-friendly student portal that is integrated with the entire system. Even better, the entire solution could be deployed in months, not years, and it didn't require a large, upfront capital investment. It really is a scalable solution that can grow with us as we pursue our mission of equipping Native Americans for Christian service."

According to information on its site, AIC is the "nation's only regionally-accredited, Christian college serving primarily Native American students." More information about the school is available at aicag.edu.
